Found out I needed a hysterectomy in 2008. I found drawing and writing very helpful. In 2009 I posted a series of hysterectomy cartoons called “The Hysterical Hysterectomy” on http://www.flickr.com/theartangel . These cartoons are used often in other peoples blogs and websites. I’m on the road again!
I’ll be back and forth from DC to The Berkshires for the next 3 months!
My friends & family invited me…and since I’ve been depressed where I’m at now…
…some travel will probably be good for my soul!
Eventually, I hope to land in NORTHHAMPTON, MA. I LOVE it there!
While traveling, I’ll be doing some odd jobs, lots of babysitting, working on a video,
tweaking some books, cartoons & safe sex stuff I’m working on
and of course…FACE PAINTING!
WOW! KIDS LOVE GETTING THEIR FACES PAINTED!!!
It’s wild! They will wait in 2 hour long lines…patiently!
It ceases to amaze me!
It gives me great joy to make them sooooo HAPPY from such a simple act!
Well, I’m off and those are my summer plans!

HELLO! I’m back from DC and will start posting pictures of my adventures with wings…
I’m also back to work on my on-line shops and I’ve posted some new products on:

Well, on a personal note, I hope to be more public with my wings this year and continue with my documentary.
It’s called “MESSAGE~ We’re All Writing This Story”. I will be running (& dancing!) across country wearing my angel wings as a symbol/ message of peace. Along the way I will be interviewing strangers and getting their take on the possibilities of peace on earth. I will also do collaborative art with strangers called “Canvas Dance”.
I will have several pairs of wings for people to sign & write their “message”. I will also be passing out hearts to all I meet… to remind them of the sweetness & power of love.
I am currently researching grants for women artist & film. If you have any resources you can share with me, I would be so grateful! I am also looking for sponsors.

Hi! I’m back from the DC area, where I was able to take care of some business, see some friends and family AND run around wearing my angel wings! I got some photos & film to add to my documentary, which once I get some technical help, I’ll post some pics of my adventure with wings!
I LOVE wearing my wings in public! People are 98% of the time grinning severely! This time I carried paper hearts with me & handed them out to people who smiled at me or stopped to talk.
At one point I was at Union Station in DC and had to kill 7 hours! I walked around a lot, so, many people saw me. At one point I sat down & started drawing …when I turned around I found 4 children staring at me. They started asking me questions…5 minutes later, I had 8 children sitting with me…all drawing with me! It was so cute!
I’m kind of a kid magnet…with or without the wings!
People were very kind and gave me FREE things! I was at Port Authority, Union Station & on the MARC train. Sometimes on this trip the world seemed magical.
I’m now back in The Berkshires and putting all I got into feeling healthy & happy! Updating my ETSY.com shops & Cafepress.com.

Unfortunately, I’m still dealing with my legal issue of my business flooding…almost 5 years ago! It’s so stressful to carry the financial burden I was left with! Hopefully, it won’t go on another year!
In the meantime, I just want to be POSITIVE and live my life in health & love!
