LONG LIVE LOVE!

“NUN GUY” is one of my favorite creations! I love him/her because it is ambiguous. Is it a nun? A sailor? Or a man wearing a prayer cap in an archway? I love art that plays games with your mind, that you can see several different things in one image. I have another character like this I call “One Eye Guy”. Both characters I work with a lot.

Imaged Words presents synergy between literary and visual works where the written word and the visual art gain from dual consideration, where poetry or prose is displayed with, or incorporated into, one or more visual works that present illustrations, points-of-view, counterpoints, or commentaries. Curated by BD Handspicker and Michelle Silva.
