The Art Angel

(I started writing this post in October!)

O.K. …after seeing the sweet little video my friend Peter Taussig did of me as “THE ART ANGEL”…on youtube…www.youtube.com/theartangel

I realized…WOW!

Angels really do have “weight issues”…I went through a rough period when my business flooded…life on earth can be tough…

Hence…comfort food.

OK, I went through a “chubby” phase,

which is hard to see when you’ve mostly been thin through life!

So, I started doing my workshop I created with movement and art, collage, writing and “Treasure Targets”.

The workshop is called Life*Is*A*Bun*Dance (SM).

I have the 3 day version and one day version…the main dance  is like a story I call “SOUL TREK” ~ a walk/dance through your life including every emotion you could ever have…including the dark ones, like anger and fear…I have the perfect music compiled to express all of it.

I just started doing it again and man, do I feel GREAT! Each time I do the dance, I cry & cry! It’s a prayer dance of letting go and opening the heart…Powerful stuff working the mind , body & spirit together.

I use lots of imagery, affirmation and prayer with each movement.

I’m working very hard on being very positive, because I know being positive, creates better health. I am also being very compassionate with myself & trying not to beat myself up & get too overly critical…but its tough because our society has so much hanging on “looks”…especially women’s weight!

I DO feel better lighter! I just don’t want to fly away!

But hey! It’s XMAS…FOOD EVERYWHERE!

So, I’ll eat a little of everything I like & exercise!

To quote Scarlett O’hara in Gone With The Wind…

“After all, tomorrow is another day!”

…so, after the Holidays then I’ll get more focused.
